2018년 8월 23일부터 25일까지 대한민국 서울 롯데호텔에서 열린 2018 EWC/EWCA 국제 동문 컨퍼런스에 30개국 약 350명의 학자, 정부 관계자, 교육자 및 비즈니스 리더들이 모였습니다.

컨퍼런스의 주제는 '아시아 태평양 공동체의 상호 문화적 참여' 였으며, 7개의 주요 본회의와 24개의 분과 세션에 걸쳐 100명 이상의 발표자가 참여했습니다. 기조 연설은 홍석현 중앙 홀딩스 및 한반도 평화 만들기 재단 이사장과 사공일 세계경제연구원 이사장이 맡았습니다.

About 350 scholars, officials, educators and business leaders from 30 countries gathered at the 2018 EWC/EWCA international alumni conference in Seoul, South Korea on August 23-25, 2018 at the Lotte Hotel Seoul.

The conference theme was "Intercultural Engagement in the Asia-Pacific Community" and involved over a hundred presenters in seven substantive plenary sessions and twenty-four concurrent panel sessions. Keynote addresses were made by Dr. Seok-Hyun Hong, Chairman of JoongAng Holdings and Korea Peace Foundation and Dr. Il Sakong, Chairman of the Institute for Global Economics.
